Trails

Explore 11 miles of tranquil trails winding through Punderson State Park. From the family-friendly, floating Punderson Lake Boardwalk right behind the Manor House to the wooded canopy of the 2.2-mile Erie Trail, there’s a path here for everyone. In the winter, the park transforms into a cold-weather playground, with several trails opening up for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Spot local wildlife, take in snowy views of our historic glacial lake, and connect with the great outdoors.

Boardwalk Trail 

0.5 Mile - Easy

A favorite for guests of all ages. This beautiful floating boardwalk hugs the shoreline directly underneath the historic Manor House, offering unmatched, tranquil views of Ohio’s largest and deepest natural kettle lake. Keep an eye out for local waterfowl and vibrant water plants!

Erie Trail

2.2 Miles - Moderate

Looking to dive deeper into the forest? The Erie Trail is the park’s longest hiking loop, taking you through lush woodlands and connecting key areas of the park—perfect for a peaceful retreat into nature.
